How does FRT Digital do AIO?

The step-by-step methodology FRT Digital uses to increase company presence in generative AI responses

FRT Digital does AIO in four sequential phases: diagnostic audit with AIO Score, technical implementation (Schema.org, IndexNow, Bing Webmaster Tools), citable content strategy, and monthly monitoring with AI presence metrics. The process takes 60 to 90 days to show initial measurable results — increased citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overview.

Phase 1 — Audit and AIO Score

Every project starts with a comprehensive diagnostic audit. FRT evaluates the site across four dimensions: AI crawlability (Bing indexing, robots.txt, sitemaps), structured data (Schema.org Organization, Service, Article, FAQPage), quality and citability of existing content, and entity authority (external mentions, NAP consistency, Wikipedia, institutional profiles).

The result is the AIO Score — a 0 to 100 rating that quantifies the site's readiness to be cited by generative AIs. The initial score serves as a baseline to measure evolution throughout the project.

Phase 2 — Technical implementation

Based on the diagnosis, FRT's technical team implements the infrastructure improvements:

  • Schema.org: Organization, Service, FAQPage, and Article markup on all relevant pages
  • IndexNow: integration in the deploy process for automatic Bing notification on every content update
  • Bing Webmaster Tools: full configuration with submitted sitemap and verified robots.txt
  • Crawlability verification: confirmation that BingBot, PerplexityBot, and GPTBot are not blocked

This phase resolves most technical invisibility issues that prevent AIs from indexing and citing content.

Phase 3 — Citable content strategy

The content phase is the most extensive and ongoing part of the project. FRT maps the clusters of questions that the company's clients ask in AI tools — and creates or optimizes articles that answer those questions directly, with AIO structure (direct answer in the first paragraph, headings as sub-questions, structured FAQ at the end).

Each article is planned to have at least one verifiable data point, Schema.org structure, and a complete enough answer to be extracted by an AI without the user needing to click the link.

Phase 4 — Monthly monitoring and reporting

Monthly, FRT conducts systematic visibility tests: the 10 to 20 most relevant queries from the client's cluster are manually tested in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overview. The result — citation rate, position in responses, share of voice vs. competitors — is presented in a report with comparison to the prior month and priority actions for the next cycle.

This phase closes the loop: data → action → result → next cycle.
