AIO Score: what does FRT Digital measure and how?
The technical criteria, evaluation process, and how the score is calculated in each dimension
FRT Digital's AIO Score evaluates four dimensions with objective, verifiable criteria: AI crawlability (weight 25%), Schema.org structured data (weight 25%), content citability (weight 30%), and entity authority (weight 20%). Each dimension is scored from 0 to 100, and the final score is the weighted average. The audit process takes 3 to 5 business days and requires no backend access to the site — everything is evaluated from the outside, as an AI crawler would.
How each dimension is evaluated
AI crawlability (weight 25%)
FRT verifies whether the main AI crawlers can access and index the site. Criteria include:
- robots.txt: BingBot, GPTBot, and PerplexityBot are allowed (not blocked)
- Bing Webmaster Tools: sitemap submitted, no critical coverage errors
- Speed and JavaScript: the site renders main content without JavaScript or has SSR/SSG ensuring content in the initial HTML
- URL parameters: absence of parameters creating duplicate or infinite URLs that waste crawl budget
Structured data — Schema.org (weight 25%)
FRT verifies Schema.org implementation and correctness on main pages:
- Organization: name, url, logo, description, and sameAs (links to social profiles and directories)
- Service: one markup per main service offered
- Article: author, datePublished, and description on all blog articles
- FAQPage: implemented on pages with frequently asked questions and in FAQ-format articles
Content citability (weight 30%)
Qualitative analysis of a content page sample. Criteria include:
- Direct answer: the first paragraph of the article completely answers the title question
- Heading structure: H2 and H3 used as sub-questions or verifiable statements
- Verifiable data: at least one number, statistic, or source citation per article
- Structured FAQ: at least one FAQ section with Schema.org FAQPage per article
- Absence of fluff: percentage of purely promotional content without informational substance
Entity authority (weight 20%)
FRT verifies the company's presence outside its own site:
- NAP consistency: identical name, address, and phone on the site, Google Business, Bing Places, and main directories
- Media mentions: citations in news portals, sector blogs, and specialized publications
- Institutional profiles: LinkedIn Company Page, Google Business with complete information
- Sector directories: presence in relevant sector directories with consistent information
